I just wanted to let you know I know a good one.
I pitched, won and ran the Subway account for four years while at Hal Riney and Partners.
We were their first national agency and grew them from a 5 million dollar account to a 350 million national player.
We were opening a 1000 stores a year - helping them rise to the number one in number of locations in the quick service restaurants category.
When I ran the RPA office Potbelly was one of our first wins. They went from 5 stores to 500 with our help.
We had to be especially creative since there weren’t really budgets to speak of.
Do budgets actually go down to a roll of quarters? Yes. These were dropped on the sidewalk around newly opened stores and believe it or not 70% walked back in the door and were put to use buying a sandwich.
I recently spent a year and a half at WE ARE UNLIMITED to help them get up and running with their one and only account McDonald’s.
Here’s one of the campaigns I produced. It was a lot of heavy lifting but I tried to have fun with it.
